Has anyone ever heard of Scott A. Johnson? A protestant fallen away Catholic cousin sent me a sermon of his from sermonaudio.com He had a “former state trooper”, talking about the government planning on turning the military against U.S. citizens if massive civil unrest should happen, such as in the event of a economic colapse in the United States. It was sensationalist, but pretty weird.

Just wondered.

I ran a google search of his name. I can’t find much about him, but a few of his sermons came up. I added the word ‘Catholic’ to my query and got several more sermons, most of which seem to be up to Jack Chick levels of anti-Catholicism…

Thanks Jorge. I saw you’re a protestant. Ya know, I actually sent an email to good ol’ Hank the bible answerman, but haven’t heard back from his staff. This guy is a really nut, this Scott A Johnson.

It’s a long story, but suffice to say, I am Catholic entirely now, if not officially.

I’ve been acquainted with a couple of folks who believe stuff like that. Goofy stuff, the numbers on the back of road signs are to tell the UN where to go when they invade, the cameras at intersections are really laser readers aimed at the bar code on your vehicle so “they” can track your whereabouts.

I am a convert also. I was methodist due to my parents growing up. I became economically convervative first, then ardently pro-life. I couldn’t remain a protestant, because no other church has kept the message of Christ like the Catholic church. It was a hands down no-brainer.
