I keep hearing about “roman” catholivs breathing witg both lungs conciously, however easterners are barred from this, lest they be deemed latinizers. It is as if the latin rite is able to develop practices and evotions, while the east is placed in a spiritual ghetto and can not develop. Am I reasing to much into the lainization scandal, snd if i am not, why is this situation the case

The Church breaths with both lungs, one lung is western and the other is eastern. Organic development is acceptable and has occurred through liturgical revisions and hierarchical growth. One recent example is seen in the Syro-Malabar church with the Knanaya Catholics. Also some of the eastern Catholic churches have been raised in hierarchical structure (Metropolitan, Major Archibishop). Also change in acceptance of married priests.
