Doubts about vocation

A couple of yrs ago I got the call to religous life and since then I have been trying to find which order to join. I was reading about the Servents of Gods love and I found that they have a foster home and I got super excited because I love kids and would love to spend my whole life with kids but in the past few weeks I have really started having doubts about it.
Can any one help me?

Let me tell you one single fact. It is completely natural to doubt during your disinterment process. The discernment process for most people is just that - a process. As far as I know, some people (and even Saints) had doubts even after they made the final step into their vocation. I myself am discerning the vocation to priesthood and I experience doubts all time. Sometimes I feel like I know it and a week later I’m unsure once again. Don’t be discouraged by doubts. Pray and open yourself to God and trust him and he will make sure you will end up in the right place. 🙂 Spending a lot of time with God in Adoration is great.

Do you have a good spiritual director do discuss these matter with him? If not then you should get one because that’s always the first step. I’m sure that he will help you in your discernment.

The thing to do is to contact a vocations director from the Servents of God and take it from there. In the meantime, keep praying about discernment, partricularly with the Blessed Mother.
