Has anyone else heard of him?

I randomly bought one of his books a few months ago. The name caught my eye because it was “Constantine”. I finally read it and rather enjoyed it, then a teacher gave me another novel by him, “Sword and Scalpel”. I rather enjoyed that read as well, so I went out in search of some of his other novels. Luckily my neighbourhood book shoppe had a bunch, so I bought a few. I just started reading “The Road to Bithynia” about St. Luke. I’m rather enjoying that book as well.

I’ve looked around for some information on him because I’m rather curious as to who the author was. I only found some very basic stuff so far, but apparently in his time he was huge. I’m very curious because his novels seem to go by two themes: physicians and religious.

I wonder if he’s Catholic or not, because the books I’ve read have very Catholic characters in them.

Could someone point me in the right direction to learn more about him? I’d much appreciate it.

He’s been around a long while, but apparently is deceased now.

Yeah, I found that out last night while looking for information on him. I still haven’t found out if he’s Catholic or not though, that page says nothing about it.

His home town obit does not mention services. Odd.
With the amount of information, or rather lack thereof, I would almost think he was made up. I don’t think he would have a pen name, nor do I think he would be able to keep that name all his writing career if he had one. This is indeed puzzling.
