This is a rare instance when America had the opportunity to listen to what happens when we chose wrongly to abort our children. God bless Karen for her courage. God bless Bill O’Reilly too for the courtesy of letting this woman speak openly and honestly.
KELLY, FORMER DR. TILLER PATIENT: Well, it was a five-day process… And during the five days, they insert expandable whatever into the cervix to slowly dilate you through the five-day process.
And about the third or fourth day Dr. Tiller came in and injected into the amniotic sack a saline solution, which suffocated and burned my baby to death. And on the last day they put you in a room with other women … they decide that you’re dilated enough and they put you in wheelchair and wheel you out to another room.
And in this other room there’s basically a toilet, and they told me to sit on the toilet, lean on the nurse, and push, push my baby into a toilet. And after that they wheel you into another room, to remove all the… afterbirth.
And really, that’s the only two times I ever saw the doctor

I saw it and it made me boil. And this is only part of what goes on in abortion clinics like that.

For any other operation, doctors are very reassuring to the patient and explain what will happen, that they do it all the time, and that everything will be okay. I guess they don’t for abortion because the more you know, the less likely you are to go through with it. When my daughter is 13, if she gets pregnant, she’s having it if i have to raise it. I don’t want her to live another 70 years always wondering what if, and i won’t send her the message that a child is such a burden that it should be killed. If anyone dies as a result of her pregnancy, it will be the man or boy who did it. I’ll not kill his child and enable him to go out and traumatize countless other young women.

I’m glad that she had the courage to speak out. Abortion is a horrendously sickening “procedure”. It is murder and the murder of an innocent baby no less.

We’re the pro-life people. Don’t fall into the Enemy’s mindset. Remember, Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life and He wants us to pray for everyone.

I was exaggerating, and i think if the overprotective father image hadn’t been marginalized as neanderthal and archaic, our society would be a lot better off. If 16 year old boys feared irate middle aged men knocking on their doors with a tire iron in one hand, they may think twice before attempting unchastity.
Don’t get me wrong. I don’t think violence is the answer, but we need to be doing something for our daughters and sons besides praying. Actions speak louder than words, especially words they never hear. Live chastity, speak up when you see something unchaste you disagree with (looking away uncomfortably doesn’t seem to be working), and above all, teach them the value of respect for themselves and others. Teach them that physical pleasure is a privilege, not a right, and that it comes with responsibilities that they should wait till adulthood before assuming. Encourage them to be kids and participate in extracurriculars instead of trying to have adult like relationships as pre-teens. And get rid of the TV. You don’t need it. No matter how much witnessing you do, if the child sees all the garbage on tv, they will see sin tarted up as glamour with no consequences, and they will eventually get the impression you don’t know what you’re talking about. When they see people living sinfulness in the real world, they will see that it has consequences and your words and witness will bear more weight. Get rid of the tube, or block every channel but EWTN.
And above all, when your daughter brings home a guy, make sure you’re lifting weights or breaking through two-by-fours with your head. It’s not an overt threat, but the message is clear. Is that Christian enough for you?

Here is part of the Transcript…

BILL O’REILLY, HOST: “Factor follow-up” segment tonight, authorities in Kansas still investigating the late-term abortionist Dr. George Tiller, to see if he has violated state law about reporting the rapes of underaged girls.

Tiller will abort babies at any time up until birth, sometimes citing the depression of the mother as a medical reason.

Joining us now from Washington is Kelly. Got pregnant at age 13 in Maryland and had her fetus aborted by Tiller. OK, so you were 20 weeks pregnant when you brought the situation to your parents’ attention, I understand. In the state of Maryland, you could not have an abortion that late, but your father and mother, I guess, decided to take you to Kansas, where Tiller advertises on the Net. Everybody knows who he is. He’ll abort babies at any time. So your parents take you there. You go into the clinic. Pick it up from there.

KELLY, FORMER DR. TILLER PATIENT: Well, it was a five-day process. And when I first went in, they have counseling that they offered. It’s a group counseling with other women that are going through the same thing. And during the five days, they insert expandable whatever into the cervix to slowly dilate you through the five-day process.

And about the third or fourth day Dr. Tiller came in and injected into the amniotic sack a saline solution, which suffocated and burned my baby to death. And on the last day they put you in a room with other women — there’s, like, maybe six to 10 beds in a big room. And every woman is lying there. And they kind of go down the line and whatever’s ready, you know, they decide that you’re dilated enough and they put you in wheelchair and wheel you out to another room.

And in this other room there’s basically a toilet, and they told me to sit on the toilet, lean on the nurse, and push, push my baby into a toilet. And after that they wheel you into another room, to remove all the, you know, afterbirth.

And really, that’s the only two times I ever saw the doctor was when he injected the saline solution and when he finished the process by removing the afterbirth. And this is all very graphic, and I think that that’s very important that people know that that’s going on in our country.

O’REILLY: Sure. Absolutely. And I applaud your courage. Now, did the doctor say anything to you?

KELLY: No. I mean — you know, what I remember today is that no one ever said anything to me about what was going to happen during that five-day process or what was going to happen when I left that clinic or 10 years down the road what was going to happen.

O’REILLY: All right. But Tiller himself, when he injected the fetus with the killing agent and then when he took the afterbirth, he never said anything to you at all?

KELLY: “This will all be over soon.”

continued…

O’REILLY: “This will all be over soon.” What happened to the body?

KELLY: I have no idea. I left my baby dead in the toilet.

O’REILLY: All right. Then when you got out from after the process was over, you went where?

KELLY: After he had finished the process that day?

O’REILLY: Right.

KELLY: To a hotel room and then back home.

O’REILLY: So you just left the clinic right after you discharged the baby, the dead baby, and you put your coat on and went out to a hotel.

KELLY: Yes.

O’REILLY: How do you feel about that, the whole thing?

KELLY: I’m disgusted. I’m disgusted that women are told that they have a choice, yet no one tells us what that choice is or what that choice is going to do to us or to the baby, for that matter. I mean, very few people, I think, know that this is what happens. It’s not just an easy solution. It just — it’s not an answer to any problem. It just creates other problems.

O’REILLY: What happened to you after the abortion?

KELLY: Many things. I mean, I was traumatized, so I had lots of symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder. I had very low self-esteem. I was promiscuous, I used drugs, I had eating disorders. Lots of horrible things.

And when I think that, you know, what would the worst-case scenario be, that I have my child? That would have been better than having gone through all of the affects of the depression, suicidal thoughts, all of that that happened afterwards.

O’REILLY: Now Kelly, don’t beat yourself up. You were 13 years old, you were 14 when the abortion happened, you know. You know better now. You’re courageous. You came on. You told the nation what’s happening in Kansas. Very few people will do that. And you know, we appreciate your courage very much. Thank you.

What are your thoughts on the interview?

We allmust pray very hard to end the culture of death - and also for Kelly who was so wrongly betrayed by the pro-aborts and has suffered so much, including the loss of her child. I truly hope she finds healing in speaking out and realizes that, despite her horrible and tragic ordeal, be speaking out she is acting as an instrument of Christ’s peace and love for all pregnant women and their unborn babies.

Magster,

I watched the video with Amy Richards. Amy did not want to answer O’Reillys “yes or no” questions on the following questions…
  1. Are you OK with Dr. Tiller executing babies with late term abortions for the sole reason “the mother may be depressed”?
  2. Are you OK with the Abortion Clinics not turning the name of the rapist(s) to the authorities when the woman comes in for an abortion?
O’Reilly asked each question at least two times and Amy just flat out refused to give a “yes or no” answer.

I give Amy credit for appearing on a show which will ask tough questions. I like watching Fox News primetime shows like “The O’Reilly Factor” and “Hannity & Colmes” because these are the only shows which will ask the tough questions.

Personally I know Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly are “Catholic” but they seem to be luke warm Catholics or “Cafeteria Catholics” and that bothers me.

I have heard Hannity say before he feels there are times when contraception should be used. O’Reilly is all over the board on issues and its very obvious many times he does not follow Catholic teaching. I have to say I do like both programs because they ask the tough questions unlike CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS and the rest of the televised secular media.

There are many things that bother me when a guest comes on one of these shows…
  1. I cannot stand it when a guest refuses to go on these two shows because they cannot control the questions and the questions are too tough.
Examples of guests who never come on these shows are Hilary Clinton, Bill Clinton and Barach Obama to name a few of the many. These politicians want your vote to become President of the U.S. where they will have to defend the country against terrorism but how could anyone even consider voting for them if they are afraid of being a guest on one of Fox News prime time shows? I at least give Amy Richards credit for showing up as a guest on “The O’Reilly Factor”.
  1. I cannot stand it when a guest cannot answer a “yes or no” question! To me this is a signal they don’t really deep down believe in what they stand for or they just have an alternative agenda which does not make any sense.
The same goes with posters debating topics on the boards. I cannot stand it when they cannot answer simple “yes or no” questions and the only thing that bothers me more is when they repeatedly refuse to answer “yes or no” questions.

Thus Amy Richards continued to dodge O’Reilly’s two questions. I think if someone wants to persuade others into their way of thinking, then they should answer the tough “yes or no” questions. Otherwise by avoiding the answer its going to turn off the listener and the listener will think they have no credibility.

Just had to air my thoughts!

Magster,

I like what a poster (Alan) on Michelle Malkins website had written in regards to Amy Richards decision to terminate two of her three children…

It’s a good thing she did not destroy an eagle egg or kill 2 spotted owls. She would be in prision right now.

Regarding the woman who aborted two of her three triplets - one of my first thoughts was “What if she aborted the ones with the musical talent?” I mean, if the lucky one who lived is a flop at music - the poor mom might just kick herself.
