A while back 6 months ago I had a dream of the world going into trouble. Me my boyfriend and mother rushing threw the stores looking for food, and in my dream I just knew we needed candles. Without thought I got 1 basic saint Teressa candle and 2 little light teal green Virgin Mary statue candles.
Running out the store I felt we need to hurry because demons where coming while putting stuff in the car I notice a lady trying to steal my brother carseat so I told her no I needed that.
But i went to her and got my spare teal green Virgin Mary candle but this time the candle had a rosary and a little green scapular around it. So I gave it to her and told her “take this give your life to her son and pray. Wear this at all times and if you and your baby die wearing this you will not suffer pain and go to heaven”…
This dream was so vivid I had to write it down so I won’t forget it, but wen I tell people or look for answers for my dream people say I over react or dumb.
But after that dream she’s been coming to my dreams more and more where I find myself praying the our father and hail marry…
Like right now in my new recent dream she appeared in a tall statue in front of my car with color this time…I just want to know what it could just mean? I do pray the rosary every night but just lost of what it could be. And scared to talk about these dreams because I dont want people calling me dumb.

With all that is going on in the world, your brain is working overtime. If you pray the rosary often, it is only natural your mind is going to combine the two when you dream.

In my opinion, some people can have profound dreams that do come true. I think it definitely can be a grace from God. But, only you can be the one who knows if it is from God because no one else had your dream. I too have had dreams in the past that have stood out and have “come true”. Some famous saints who had prophetic dreams include St. Joseph, St John Bosco, St Francis of Assisi and probably others I am unaware of. Generally, we should view our dreams with a bit of skepticism, unless they clearly come from God. And even then, they are considered private revelation and hold no obligation for others to believe them. Overall, dreams come from one of three sources: our own minds, God, or the devil. Bring your dream to prayer if it is a cause of concern for you. Ask God to give you wisdom and clarity to discern its source. I pray that God will give you the answers you seek. 🙏

I think in these cases what is needed is discernment and a good spiritual director.

At first I thought it was probably brought on by the COVID virus, social isolation, etc. But, you had this dream six months ago, and still think of it. Just pray about it. Were you upset or worried at the time? I’d say that its probably not a ‘warning’. Just maybe a reminder to pray, be charitable, etc.

So…pray, but don’t worry. If it was directly from God, he’d be sending warnings to others, too.
