Well, I wouldn’t want an entire message in “leet-speak” or acronyms. But DH, DW, DS, and DD are widely accepted across the Internet as shorthand for “dear (or “darling”) husband/wife/son/daughter.”) There’s also DBF, DGF, and DF.
Of course, there’s also nothing saying one MUST use these.
