That’s pretty much it. Except to torture them or do things to them purely out of malice. They are for man’s use. They are property. They have the same rights as property.
Please point out to me where anything is said differently in Catholic Theology. We’ve already covered the CCC. At best, it is unclear; it certainly allows for a variety of interpretations. That being said, I would appreciate if we could get a more definitive source than that, say, something from a Church document (rather than a vague statement in the new catechism) or a reputable Catholic moral theologian.
