Dying friend

A dear friend just informed me that her dad is in ICU on life support and that his heart has recently stopped twice. She is asking for people to pray that God’s will be done and for her father’s soul. She isn’t sure of where he stands in terms of his faith. His name is Mike Schwed. Your prayers are appreciated.
 
Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
 
Praying for Mike and will add him to the Divine Mercy chaplet today …

I will also pray for Mike’s salvation.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

I lift your friend Mike in prayer.

Lord, Jesus Christ,
Take all my freedom, my memory, my understanding, and my will.
All that I have and cherish, you have given to me.
I surrender it all to be guided by your will.
Your grace and your love are enough for me.
Give me these Lord Jesus and I ask for nothing more.

Peace to you both in this difficult time,

Mike passed away yesterday.

I offer my deepest sympathy as Mike now rests peacefully in God’s loving arms.

May our dear Lord bless all who loved Mike so much with peace in this time of sorrow.

Lord our God, the death of (Mike) recalls our human condition and the brevity of our lives on earth. But for those who believe in Your love, death is not the end, nor does it destroy the bonds that You forge in our lives. We share the faith of Your Son’s disciples and the hope of the children of God. Bring the light of Christ’s resurrection to this time of testing and pain as we pray for (Mike) and for those who love him/her, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
