E-5 men and fasting

I came across this website last September e5men.org. E-5 men refers to Ephesians 5:25 “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her”. The founder asks men to sign up to fast on the first Wednesday of the month. Fasting can be for wives, girlfriends, ex girlfriends, sisters, mothers, or any other female that you feel could benefit from your fasting. The site looks very Catholic even though I haven’t seen any reference. I signed up and they send a reminder the Tuesday before with a small note of encouragement. I found it to be quite gratifying.

There was another post on this somewhere on the fourms. It is an awesome program, and I think there are quite a few other E-5 Men who post here and a few E-5 women as well.
