Has anyone else joined E5? If so, would you be interested in starting an accountability club?

The e5 Man fasts for his bride as a way to imitate Jesus as described by Saint Paul in his letter to the Ephesians, chapter 5 (for which the e5 is named). e5 Men fast in unison on bread and water for at least one 24 hour day per month - preferably the 1st Wednesday of the month.

I joined awhile ago, but unfortunately fell out of the habit. I would be interested in an accountability club though to get me back into the habit.

Did you fall out of step with the E5 program because of a lack of accountability?

Would you like to start the club through Catholic Answers’ forum?

I don’t think it was because of a lack of accountability that I fell out of step, but having the accountability would have helped. So yeah, through the CA forums is what I was thinking.
 
I just started E5 today. I decided that every Wednesday will be the best way for me.

It’s difficult starting out but with prayer and perseverence it’ll work out.

Wow, am I hungry

An accountability group would be great, help keep me from sneaking that brownie in with the bread 🙂
 
I am an E5 man. I love the the penance and believe that it is completely appropriate. I thin I will look and see if there is a CAF group for E5 men (and women).
 
***Whoever invited me, thank you very much, I joined earlier. :tiphat: Will we be chatting in that section, like with other groups on here? I’m very green when it comes to groups, I’m still trying to get the hang of them. 😊 ***
