I was looking through catholic.com/library/Old_Testament_Canon.asp and found a few references to the councils of Rome (A.D. 382), Hippo (A.D.393), and Carthage III (A.D.393). Does anyone know of any books in which talks about the events in the council and how they came about deciding on the biblical canon?Thanks and God bless.
