Ok, I’m in the RCIA and I’m a catechumen. My question is, how will the procession go? What do I do during it all? What are the steps I have to go through? What do I wear to the ceremonies? How does everything work? I know it’s not for a while but I’m still a little stressed 😊 help??? :confused:

Ask your priest, because your parish might be a little different from others. I’m certain he will give catechumen’s instruction as to what to do. If it helps you to relax, remember that countless people have handled this just fine. Also remember that those in the parish welcoming you into the Church are truly happy to see you there, so nobody will worry if things don’t go absolutely perfectly.

Try and forget that thought for now and concentrate on the important things you will ask about and learn about your Catholic faith.

Plus, there’s usually a rehearsal Holy Saturday morning; there you will learn the answers to all your questions.

Relax a bit, sit back and let the Holy Spirit do the driving…

the questions will be answered at the appropriate time during your preparation, there is no set rule for any of these except in most general terms
there is no point worrying about Easter now, while you are still in the early stages of your preparation. You will be clued on on each rite and transition as they happen.
