When the titular churches in the Eastern Rite reconciled with the Roman Pontiff, did they retain their original Orthodox liturgical texts? Were the Gospel and Epistle Readings of the Mass changed after the Vatican II Council?

Our churches use readings that are part of our own tradition. If they match those in the Latin Rite on any particular day, it is coincidence. The readings did not change after Vatican II, at least not in the Byzantine Rite.

The Maronite readings do not coincide with the Roman church, either. We follow our own festal calendar, too. One thing I have learned is that our OT readings were removed. Only the epistle and the gospel are read but the church hopes to have that restored, amongst other traditions that were abrogated or changed.

Of course, just like before the schism.

The retention of eastern praxis was a term of union for those churches with treaties such as Brest and Uzrod.

Were the Gospel and Epistle Readings of the Mass changed after the Vatican II Council?

We can conclude without looking that no such violation occurred, as the churches are still in communion . . .
