I guess saints are saints, so its OK to ask for the prayers of saints of eastern Catholic churches, yes?

Am I right in saying some Old Testament figures are honored as saints in Eastern Catholic churches - like Elijah…

For all the - LGBT - saints?

Yes. A Catholic Saint is a Catholic Saint. Many of the early Doctors of the Church are from the Eastern Rites.

St. John Chrysostom - Archbishop of Constantinople
St. Gregory Nazianzus - Archbishop of Constantinople
St. Basil the Great - Bishop of Caesarea
St. Athanasius - Archbishop of Alexandria
St. Cyril of Jerusalem - Archbishop of Jerusalem
St. Cyril of Alexandria - Archbishop of Alexandria
St. Ephrem - Deacon of one of the Syriac Rites

God Bless.

You can pray to any saint recognized by any Catholic Church.
