Is there a particular way of representing Our Lord’s nativity in Eastern Catholicism - say a particular icon form?

I was struck by this Tibetan nativity, and it led me to ponder.

And, yes, I know Tibet isn’t ‘Eastern Catholic’ but I hope you see what I am getting at!

Is there an image like this from Syria itself - from the troubled areas there at present.

For me that would be poignant to see / reflect upon as we pray for that area and the area occupied by Islamic State (Daesh).

Lovely Tibetan nativity

These and the commonly seen Byzantine style iconography would be found in most Churches in that region.

Thank you. Is there one which is known to originate in that region?

And if I may ask - which Eastern Christians predominate (or did until recently) in the ISIS controlled area?

Just about all native Christian sects in the Levant are affected. That mainly includes Syriacs - both Orthodox and in union with Rome - Chaldeans, and Assyrians, in both Iraq and Syria. Also, in Syria, some Greek Orthodox, Melkites, Armenians, and a smattering of Maronites.
