I think there’s a misunderstanding built in to your question. You say “Eastern Orthodox” and you say “EO Catholic.” There are two groups I think you may be confusing:I have a question about the Eastern Orthodox religion’s teachings on abortion in the case that a woman’s life is in danger. I thought the teachings in the Latin and EO Catholic Churches were the same. But someone pointed me to this article in which it states that the EO Chuch:

Eastern Orthodox - the group of Churches that are in full communion with the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople - including the Greek Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Serbian Orthodox, etc. This communion and the Catholic Church split a long time ago, customarily cited as 1054. They are not in communion with the Pope in any way, and are completely separate from the Catholic Church, although they maintain valid sacraments.
Eastern Catholic Churches - these are Churches of Eastern and Oriental traditions, rites, and liturgies, but that are in full communion with the Pope and thus are a part of the Catholic Church, but distinct from the Roman/Latin Rite of the Church that we are all so familiar with. The Maronites, Ruthenians, and Melkites are among the better known Eastern Catholic Churches. At the core, Eastern Catholics have all the same teachings as the “Roman Catholics” do, although they may be expressed very differently.
Eastern Catholics certainly have the same teachings as other Catholics with regard to abortion. I don’t know about the Eastern Orthodox. But these are two separate questions and I’m not sure which you meant to ask (if you were aware of the distinction).
