I don’t want to come off as being a judge, but…
How can an Eastern catholic reconsile venerating an Eastern Orthodox saint with the teaching that there is no salvation outside the Church?

Also, what are some examples of EO Saints venerated by catholics?
  1. Seraphim of Sarov
others?

assuming there is conflict here misunderstands the teaching no salvation outside the Church. For one thing, Orthodox are part of the Church, although in imperfect unity, sadly. For another thing, the doctrine does not declare anywhere absolutely that no one who is not a baptized Catholic cannot be saved. Look up the doctrine on the apologetics forum for a more complete explanation.

So am I sort of being a Feenyist? What is the correct teaching on this? I always thought that yes, there are a few outside the Church saved (desire, blood) but pretty slim pickings.
