Seems anyone who ever becomes Pope, walks around with a big bullseye on his back, and then as well as the Roman Catholic Church.

Why are these the fastest targets for people to gossip and hope for drastic progressive change ? Pope resigns, must be the end of the world and the Pope is obviously hiding terrible secrets, Pope does something good, he isn’t doing enough, the Church does this but why don’t they do that .

An it never ends, and in the process those that fall into what ever category that might be that i have mentioned completely miss Christ on the way. An when things become to much instead of trust and faith, there is gossip and uncertainty, either the Church talks to much and demands to much, or they dont speak up enough on certain issues.

Almost like being a cop, never one around when ya need one and when they do show up they are there to give you a speeding ticket, and instead of going oh, perhaps i need to slow down an be a better driver, we sit there an gripe an complain and blame the cop.

Yet the Pope is always the problem along with the RCC, though the same complainers who want the Papacy and the RCC to be progressive and make changes, do not demand the same from Islam, or the Amish, or those are believe in Wicca, or atheists an agnostics.

So why is that ?

is it a lack of faith ?

An as for the end of the world, an easy cop out hoping for that one isn’t it ? that would be the quickest answer if Christ knew an told everyone when the world would literally end so we as humanity better get it right by that date, or just do the best ya can, or dont worry about your troubles cause on such a date it is over. I would be more concerned about the end of the world if there was a chance that humanity was immortal, but considering that humans have a life span of up to roughly 110yrs i figure it is a safe bet my clock will run out by that time so the end of the world is really the least of my concerns.

The end of the world is an easy target of concern as well, yet time an again the date comes an goes an someone just pops up with another one not convinced of the past, let alone scripture. It to me seems like an easy cop out, one wouldnt have to worry about paying taxes any more, or going to work, or anything really if the date was certain. But since no one knows life is just that much harder to face with out faith in Christ.

any beans

It is because the world hates the Catholic Church. Jesus well-testified that his faith would be hated, slandered and falsely accused. The other religions you mentioned are not the true religion of Jesus Christ, therefore the world does not try to infringe upon them. When people in a Protestant church or a Muslim mosque commit a sin of corruption or abuse, it is almost forgotten or explained away but when people in the Catholic Church do it, it is sensationalized. ^This can be seen from the large number of cases of pedophilia in Protestant Churches and other religions that the media conveniently ignores.

No one has and will ever hate any of the other religions as much as they will hate the Church of Jesus Christ. Just as both Jew and Gentile came together to crucify Christ, so will the non-believer and the pious Christian come together to despise the pope. Just as Jesus was betrayed by one of his own apostles, so is the pope betrayed by wicked priests in the Church and demeaned by people claiming to be “Catholic”. And just as Christ was a sign to be contradicted and a stumbling block, so shall be his vicar the pope.

I enjoyed your rant by the way. Despite my explanation, I get very upset about it too. It is not easy being Catholic and following the pope.
