Eating Disorder Help--URGENT/LAST HOPE

Please, please pray for me to help me overcome my eating disorder! I feel so trapped and I have been trying to recover for 2+ years, and every time it just gets worse. My confessor/spiritual advisor knows of my illness and is trying to help me through it, and I believe that it is somewhat working, but today was another really bad day and I am just so done with dealing with an eating disorder. I am humbly begging for prayers–please, also, if anyone has any tips whatsoever I am absolutely desperate and at my wit’s end, so I will gladly take any suggestions! But most importantly, please I beg of you to pray for me and for Our Lady’s intercession! Please! Thank you so much–I cannot thank you enough! God bless!

Also, I wanted to specify that this disorder falls mostly in the anorexia with b/p habits category. It is very frightening to me and I am at an unhealthy weight. Psychologically I can’t stop, which is why I know prayer is my only hope. Thank you!

Suggestion: If there is a craft hobby you may like to work on for some time every day.

Please get medical help and see a counselor.

Also, prayer is good, but in conjunction with what a doctor/medical setting can do. Prayer is not a magic wand to be waved over your eating disorder and it goes away. There is help for you, but it will take work on your part too.

Thank you all so much for the prayers and advice!

I am in contact with someone who is helping me, but I ask for the prayers because even with the help I feel despairing and know that God’s grace alone can give me strength. Thank you, again, for the prayers–honestly I cannot express my gratitude in writing! You all are in my prayers!

Father please help this women overcome her eating disorder. May she with your help eat as normal and live strong in your name. May she be proud of who she is and over come this illness. In your name, Jesus amen!
