My mom says we can’t, that its church discipline to refrain from meat, but I heard that was no longer necessary, anyone know?
It is on Fridays outside of lent that a dispensation was granted. My mom says we can’t, that its church discipline to refrain from meat, but I heard that was no longer necessary, anyone know?
I believe on Fridays outside of Lent, you are still susposed to do some form of penance if you choose not to abstain from meat.It is on Fridays outside of lent that a dispensation was granted.
ahh man… now I want a sandwhich and I cant have one! jk lolcool, thanks guys…I guess I cant then…a multi deli sandwhich is staring me in the face AAARRRGGHHHH!!!
This year it falls on a Thursday.Probably the only chance you might get is if St. Patricks day falls on a friday and your Bishop is Irish.God Bless
Not even a feast; just a commemoration. Not St. Patrick, but St. Joseph (Mar. 19). If a solemnity falls on a Friday in Lent, the obligation to abstain is removed. St. Patrick has a feast day, not a solemnity.
Put it in the refrigerator it will be fine tomorrow.cool, thanks guys…I guess I cant then…a multi deli sandwhich is staring me in the face AAARRRGGHHHH!!!
