Posters of the Eastern Catholicism Forum, where do you live?

(Note: You don’t need to be Eastern Catholic to vote in this poll, but please don’t vote if you aren’t at least somewhat interested/involved in the EC forum.)

Thanks whoever just voted. Nice to see that we aren’t *all *in the United States. 🙂

South Texas. Byzantine community average Sunday attendance between 18-24, excluding major feasts. Metropolitan area around 1 million.

Though it’s only been about a day, the results seem to confirm that most posters on the EC forum live in the US.

(I live in Southern New England btw.)

I was just thinking: I know Canada’s population is smaller than the UK’s and much smaller than the US’s, but even so I’m a little surprised that they’re showing as only 6% (according to current results, though that may change of course) inasmuch as Canada has a pretty significant number of Greek and Oriental Catholics.

A small observation: I was thinking that it is slightly peculiar that the poll got two for “Australia or New Zealand”, compared with only one for Canada. But that’s because I had been thinking that Austrilia has a pretty small number of ECs – now, after checking CNEWA, I realize that there are actually quite a few GCs and OCs living there, especially Maronites.

Yep there are also some Melkites there too when I had a Melkite app on my phone it was from Australia. Anyway that’s the Eastern Catholic Community I’m most familiar with and that is in Augusta Georgia. The US state not the country. And I live in South Carolina near Trenton in an area we called the CSRA in Edgefield County. If you want to go by South Carolina geography I live in the Piedmont but not the upstate where most of the Piedmont is. Well actually much of it depends on who you ask. And if I recall correctly Greer South Carolina has a Maronite Syriac Catholic Church which I have been to, which is also in the Piedmont but Augusta is much closer. You go to Stone Mountain they got all kinds of Eastern Catholic churches up in that area. I would like to see some more kiwis and Middle Eastern people. I can kind of understand just not so many middle easterners posting on here not necessarily because the ongoing Wars but because it’s an english-language site
