Hi everyone, I know this topic has been discussed before on here but I need a clarification. I thought I had always understood impure thoughts to be thoughts about sex that are deliberately entertained. Now I have been hearing from others that deliberately entertaining thoughts about kissing passionately or “making out” as some people call it, is mortally sinful as well. Is this correct? I was not aware of this - if someone I know had previously entertained thoughts of kissing/“making out,” but only thinking that thoughts of sex are mortally sinful, would they still have committed a mortal sin?
