Okay…I am a country Catholic of the good 'ole Southern Diocese of Charleston.

Anyway I am a teen and I am always hungry and so I have been thinking about having my one meal today and so I was gonna have mama cook up a batch of cornbread.

However cornbread requires ***milk ***and ***eggs ***to make. If I eat the cornbread will I be breaking my abstinence from meat?
 
No, those are dairy products, not meat. Some (myself included) abstain from all animal products throughout Lent, but on Ash Wednesday it is only specifically meat that is required to be abstained from. You can even eat fish.
