Elderly Cousins Marrying??

My father is 87 yrs. old. He is considering dating/marrying his first cousin… What is the church teaching on this?
 
Should your father and his cousin decide to marry, they would need to seek a dispensation from their diocesan bishop. So long as the proper dispensation is granted, the Church does not object to a marriage between first cousins.
