Hey folks,
I was writing an explaination of the Catholic position on relics when I ran across a passage in Sirach that stated that Elias’ body prophesised and performed miracles after death (48:14-15)
In doing further research I learned that per the Catholic Encyclopidia, Elias is another name given to Elijah. But then my problem became, if Elias is Elijah, and Elijah was taken into heaven in a chariot, how was his body around to prophesy and perform miracles?
This isn’t earth shattering or anything, I’m mostly just curious.
Thanks and God Bless
