That is precisely why the government should not get involved with redefining that which is already inherent. Human life, regardless of its size, intellect, or independence begins at conception. That’s something unchangeable by society. Thus, society ought not to try to govern such an absolute other than to protect it just as it protects its citizens from murderers.
But killing the unborn child is murder – and deliberate, premeditated murder at that.

Since I assume from your post that you agree murder should be against the law, why make an exception for the murder of the most innocent and helpless of all?

You must misunderstand my meaning. I don’t believe we should make an exception. I was trying to convey that life beginning at conception is so obvious that society shouldn’t even be debating the issue; however, sadly it is and does assign an arbitrary value to it. Forgive my poor explanation earlier. I would agree 100% that killing the unborn is murder.

According to her anything directly quoted that has more than 7 words, even if there is quotations and a reference source, is plagerism.
I would love to see her prove plagerism to the academic board for a cited quotation!

In order to be a human person, you have to have been an embryo. But human beings were never a sperm or an egg.

The word ‘conception’ as being fertilization for the beginning of our existence has to be qualified since the original definition was redefined by the medical establishment after 1973 to be “implantation”. Medical dictionaries and medical information given to women use the implantation definition for the beginning of our life. What accurate and factual information is given out by doctors! (I’m being sarcastic.)

Normally, our existience begins in the Fallopian tube. But with the loveless manufacturing of human beings occuring now, it could be in a Petri dish.

For Christians who don’t believe in protecting embryos, the Visitation of Mary to Elisabeth in Luke is a good biblical agument for the humanity of the embryo, Jesus, and for that of the fetus, John the Baptist.
