Emergency Question...Please help!

Today is the last day my church is offering Confession until after Easter. I need to make a confession before I take Communion again. I am not going to make it to the church in time for confession. If I wait until the Saturday after Easter to make my confession and take communion, am I fufilling my duties as a Catholic to recieve during the Easter Season.

By all means make an appointment. The sooner you go the better.

But in response to your question, the Easter season continues through Pentecost so you have until then to meet your Easter obligation to receive communion.

Also, just find another parish that is offering confessions - go to mass times masstimes.org/dotNet/default.aspx and look up confession times for parishes in your area. Or call the other local parishes to see what they are doing.
