Like most adult men, I’ve struggled with excessive lust and many of the personally damaging behaviors that go with it. I got a green scapular and had it blessed. When struck again with temptation I prayed the Green Scapular Prayer and the Three Hail Marys for purity. It was physically excruciating, but the graces of Our Lady helped me to overcome the temptation and change the thoughts and intents of my heart.

If you struggle with lust, depression, and doubt, by all means avail yourself of the Green Scapular and the Miraculous Medal. Saturate yourself in the sublime graces of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. You WILL overcome this vice.

I’ve never heard of the “Green Scapular”…would you mind telling me what it is and where I can find it?

Oh, ok. I was wondering if it was a scapular that was specifically for purity or something like that. Thanks!
 
No problem! It’s for a variety of uses, but any act of entrustment to the Immaculate is going to help.
