Interesting. I don’t believe this is “coming soon”. I’m of the opinion this is occurring at this very moment. I see no need to wait for “signs”. The writing is on the wall.

I really dont care about the end times. I dont worry about tommorrow. But I do sometimes wish that Jesus would come back sooner than later

As St peter tells us in his sermon in Acts the end times begun with Christs resurection. Also St John in his first letter very clearly lets us know that we are in the last age of time.
I can not understand all of this speculation about the so called end times, we have been in the end times for 2000 years, every day since the resurection IS the last day. And as St Peter reminds us a 1000 years is but a day to the eternal God and a day a 1000 years. So as far as God is concerned we have only been going about a day and a half since Christ’s attonement. Who knows God may give it a month or even a year?
All of this end time specultion spread by such academic minnows such as Hal Lindsy forces the words of Christ and for that matter all Sacred Scripture into the narrow lens of Disspensational Millennieumism popularised by fringe protostants such as Nelson Darby and then used as justifacation for the American restorationists of the 19th Century such as William Millar it then spawned countless heretical movements such as the Adventists and Jehovah Wittnesses who are obssesed by it, it was picked up by the Fundamentalists and became popularised folk lore through the Schofield refernce bible. And all it has achieved is confusion and fear, it is unscriptual as Christ tells us in Matthew 24 and has been responsable for leading millions away from the true message of christ and his church and enslaving them to a mirried of Legalistic, Fundamentalist and in some casses Radicalised Sects.
The Churcu Millitant sojorns here on earth within history and time at the forbarence, paitence and love of God so that all may have the oppurtunity to repent and gain salvation and eternal life through the Grace of Christ.
