Hello everyone…
I am wondering what the latin translation of “let it be” is, or if there is an equivilent translation. I am very new to latin and this phrase in particular is very significant to me.

thanks in advance!

“Sit” which is the Hortatory Subjunctive of “est.”
“Est” is indicative: “It is.”
“Sit” is subjunctive:“Let it be.” or “May it be.”
As in “Sit Dominus semper vobiscum.” May the Lord always be with you.
