Entertainment using the symbol of a cross like an attack sinful?

I know the new star wars has the symbol of a cross in the villain’s light saber. Then again most swords are in the shape of a cross.
However, some app/computer/video games that has a fantasy/rpg theme may also use a symbol of a cross like a magical attack. Is this sinful to engage in entertainment like this.
I’m probably overthinking this.

You might be overthinking it. Real swords have something called a crossguard, to protect the hand. The crossguard on the new Star Wars lightsaber is oversized. Did they design it that way to look like a Christian cross, or was it intended just to look menacing? I don’t know. I haven’t seen the video game you wrote of, but I would assume it is just meant to be eye-catching fantasy sort of stuff. Not sinful.

Yes using religious pictures, signs ,symbols icons,as they are sacramental ,for unholy purposes is sinful ,its a misuse as it is sacrilegious and blasphemy to cause scandal or attract the masses for evil purposes or cause the lose of souls by bad example ,misleading people is grievous sin
