I did not know where to ask this…
Okay, I was talking to my Husband about Epiphany House Blessing (Chalking the door)
20 + C + M + B + 19
Okay a couple of months ago My Priest
(I say my priest because my Husband does not go to church)
Any ways he came back in August and blessed Our home,Now can my Son write this on front door when time (Yes he is catholic, Confirmed April of this year) ?
and does he write it on outside of front door or inside?
and Can we leave it on , take it off after a certain length or what? This will be our first time …

Yes. As I live by myself, I wrote it on my door myself and I’m female.

I think it is meant to be written on outside, though I wrote mine on the inside.

Being written with blessed chalk (or mine was) I left mine on. It faded anyway, even being on the inside and thus not affected by sun or the elements. Next year, I’ll write it again the same way.
 
I lost my papers explaining how to do the Blessing. Can somebody provide a link for me ? Thanks in advance.
