Err.. a special request prayer

hi all… i am kinda embarrassed to ask this in a prayer forum or any forum for that matter. :blushing: ok here it is… :blushing:

i have lived in my city for almost 9 years, and met alot of neat people, but my health keeps me from interacting with them alot of the time.

i interact usually at church. then iam to tired to hang around and socialize. i didn’t have alot of time for personal friendships. so guess what? one day, hubby and i were in the mall, and he was wheeling me around in my wheelchair right? ( i don’t use it all the time only when we are out for extended time because of my back getting too sore )

i saw these 2 ladies chatting and having fun. then i thought about it for a bit, and thought, hmm, wouldn’t that be great to have a new best friend? someone to hang out with, can with, chat with, shop with, and so on? 😊

i don’t know why i didn’t think of it before! i was too wrapped up in hubby and worrying about my health and so on, and being tired. so i thought, well, friends might not understand when i get tired all the time right? so i never bothered to make close friends with a Christian lady.

then i saw these 2 ladies having the time of their life, and felt a pang of regret! 😊 i thought, well, your always waiting for hubby to get home so he can take you out and you guys can have fun! ( i usually can’t go anywhere without him because of my health )

ok, get to the point will ya TC? 😊 what i want to ask you to pray for is to ask God to send me a new best friend! wouldn’t that be great? someone who understands the disabled, and someone who is caring and kind and a Catholic! wouldn’t that be fab?? it would for me!

i don’t care if she is 90! i would love a new best friend to visit, to pray with, to go to Mass with, to shop with you name it! iam extremely embarrassed! why? because i usually don’t make such public requests. 😊 but i thought about it, and i figured, the more help i have praying about it maybe God will grant my prayers if more people are asking with me:)

my childhood best friend died in 2002 of severe burns. i had not seen her in 25 years or more:( i guess i just kinda shut down after that. i would love to have a Catholic lady for a best friend.

I have a couple of bf’s, and I don’t know what I would do without em’! We actually have known each other since before birth, or mom’s worked togather, were pregnant togather, and we were born with in 10 days of each other, we all go to the same church and went to the same schools 🙂 we have been together since. I don’t think sisters could be closer. So best friends are a huge blessing and I know God wants for us to be able to fellowship with other Christians, so I will certainly pray for you! :crossrc:

you know what is fab? i have big sisters who are my best friends:) but they live far away:( i want to have a Catholic friend like my sisters are Catholic, and my youngest sister too, and we are all close. but i want to have someone close to where i live and not so far away:) then i can have a buddy to do things with:) iam hoping God answers my prayers:) all my sisters have best friends too:)
 
Dear Lord, I ask that you draw someone to this woman to be a friend, a close friend, a true friend. Bless their friendship, Lord, and let it be a light of Your glory. In Jesus name we pray.

Thank God for best friends! Aside from my parents, my two friends have exhibited the most unconditional love I have experienced - I have a wonderful husband, but these gals know just what I need when I need it - sometimes before I do! God bless all best friends, and please grant TC with a wonderful friend to enrich her life. Praying for you TC!😉

I will pray for you. I know how you feel! I have been living in my current town for 4 years now and I don’t have a local friend like what you are describing. Although I have a husband and a family and a part time job and some volunteer activities, I’m LONESOME!

I pray that both of us meet someone soon.

yeah its hard isn’t it? everyone has different reasons as to why they haven’t been able to meet that special best friend.mine has been health related. your busy and that is totally understandable. i on the other hand, work occasionally for our software business at home. that is pretty much the extent of what i can do. but on the other hand, i devote alot of time to prayer, reading, and maintaining my blog. but even then, i still have plenty of time for a new best friend:)

if it is God’s will, then i will have a new best friend. i leave it in His most capable hands!🙂
 
Lord, please look after this wonderful person and grant them a true friend who will understand and be there for them always.

Also, you’ll always have friends in here too.👍
