I noticed something interesting today when thinking about how a magnet works. Two points that stood out:
1 Take a regular bar magnet for example, it appears to be solid rock on the outside but it displays an invisible force that can only be seen as it acts upon something else.
2 If you cut a magnet in half each piece still is a magnet with a North and South pole so it didnt loose its properties.
As I was thinking about this it struck me that this is similar to how we view the Eucharist. It appears to be mere bread on the outside but “invisibly” there is something goingon and it can be seen by how it acts upon those who receive. Also that breaking/Dividing the Consecrated Host doesnt result in fragments of Christ but each part “remains” fully Christ.
I dont know what more to say other than this just hit me this morning and I had to pass it on before I forgot.
