Eucharist without host

If a priest doesn’t have traditional hosts or wine available can he use regular bread and any wine. What got me thinking of it I was reading about the priests that evangelized the Huron native Americans in the 1600’s so far from European society and what did they do

That depends.

As long as the bread is made from pure wheat flour and water, with nothing else added, a priest can certainly use this bread.

As long as the wine is pure grape wine, made by the natural process of fermentation, the wine can be used.

Hosts do not need to come from a factory.

Most wine is actually valid matter for the Eucharist–at least once we eliminate the obvious ones like cherry flavored or wine with added sweeteners. Priests use wine that’s been certified as “altar wine” to be sure.
