The past two Sundays I did not receive the Eucharist, because I wanted to go to confession. I don’t think I have a mortal sin on me (nothing that I think is a mortal sin, but i don’t know for sure), but I still wanted to go confession before receiving the Eucharist. I am going to try and make it to the confession time on Saturday. But, my question is - is it a sin that I haven’t received the Eucharist every Sunday?

It is not a sin not to communicate, although you need to do so at least once a year.
If you are not aware of any mortal sins there is no need to go to confession prior to communion.
I think you may be starving yourself without cause!
Prayers for you!

I just feel bad because I had been stressed out last week and kind of took it out on my mom, and I yelled at her and I said some rude things about her out of anger and stress. I don’t know if that is a mortal sin or not but I felt really bad afterwards because there was no need for it. I didn’t want to take communion because of it, and I thought it would be better if I confessed first.

No, it is not a sin to refrain from receiving the Eucharist in such circumstances. In fact, I doubt it is ever sinful to refrain from receiving the Eucharist. However, we are supposed to receive the Eucharist at least during Easter time just as we are supposed to go to Confession at least once a year. However, I feel that unless you are the most saintly person on earth, you should go to Confession much more often than once per year. And just the same, you should receive the Eucharist as often as possible so long as you are in a state of grace.

You are right about receiving Communion once a year being a requirement but strongly recommended that we receive often.
However, Confession is only required if we have mortal sins to confess.

In addition.venial sins can be forgiven by many means, including the Penitential Rite at Mass - and by devoutly receiving Holy Communion.
