Eucharist

Dear friends, I’m concerned to how could we, Catholics, evangelize separated Christians, who do not believe in the True presence of Christ, in the Most Holy Eucharist.

This is a humble contribution based on the Holy Scriptures. They do believe in the Bible, and the words of Christ are quite clear, concerning the Eucharist. Yet it seems to me, it doesn’t work. I will appreciate the debate. Maybe someone could give, to all of us, some new ideas, blessings.

I think Eucharistic miracles have their place. Eg- the miracle of Lanciano which even science shows is miraculous

I think part of the problem lies with our separated brethren. Like some atheists, some Protestants (namely anti-Catholics, but others as well) can be a bit too closed-minded. They are ingrained with either “Catholics are wrong” or (less offensively) “The Eucharist is merely symbolic” with their explanations as to why that is. And with a lot of people, they don’t like to be proven wrong, so they are stubborn and un-willing to listen to your evidence and will retaliate with Bible verses that may or may not have to do with whether the Eucharist contains the Real Presence (or will sometimes change the topic, sometimes to other thing they don’t agree with to try and “prove” Catholicism is wrong). Prayer goes a long way and sometimes is all you can do. People sometimes act as if they are interested, when in reality then just want to try and prove you wrong. I’ve run into these issues from time to time with my future mother-in-law. Luckily, my fiance is much more understanding and open-minded.
