Eureka but...still no internet

Hi all there…

FINALLY after a barrister involved, I got the power back last week… No internet yet; waiting and briefly online before going for the boat…

A long five months ere in the new Mexico land of postponements…

I know you aren’t able to read this now but unbelievable as it may sound, your name popped into my head last night for no reason I know about. You haven’t been on CAF for awhile and I started thinking about you and hoping all was well. I said a prayer for you and then realized it’s winter and blamed it on the winter weather in Ireland (about which I know NOTHING )

Anyway, glad you and your cats & dogs are fine. Hope you get your internet back soon!

She lives on an island in Mayo, Ireland. She hasn’t had any power until last week and when she goes to the mainland, she tries to go online.

Lucky you! I’m envious. My paternal ancestors are all from Ireland but I’ve never had an opportunity to go there.

From what she writes, it sounds like she lives on a small island off the coast of the mainland. Looking at a map of County Mayo, it does look like there are some islands off the coast. The weather they’re having sounds harsh.
