Hypothetical Question

I do not want to turn the Schaivo Case into a Racist Case but How Do You Think This Case Would Have Been Different if…

-Michael Schaivo (a White Male) had an inter-racail marriage with a Black Woman named Terri Schaivo.

-Terri Schaivo’s (a Black Woman) Parents the Schindlers were both Black.

-Terri Schaivo’s brother & sister were both Black.

-All other things in the case remained Constant (White Judge, Michael Schaivo dating a White Woman & ect.)

Q&A?

We know Jesse Jackson stood up for the Schindler’s. If the Hypothetical were true, would other Black Leaders (Sharpton, etc) have stepped up to the plate to defend a Black Terri Schaivo from being Euthanized by having Food & Water taken away from her for 3 weeks??

Would those on the left supporting Michael Schaivo now switch their support to Terri Schaivo? Would those on the left be forced to switch their allegences to Terri Schaivo?

Would the Court Cases have turned out different?

Would Jeb Bush have put a stop to the Euthanizing?

Would the Mainstream Media then have still acted in a Bias Manner against Terri Schaivo?

I dislike bringing up this Hypothetical, but to me many things would have turned out different if Terri Schaivo were Black & Michael Schaivo were White. What do you think??

Actually I thought I heard that Jesse Jackson was on the side of keeping Teri alive.

Number 1…Who would want Sharpton anywhere???:rotfl: I’m from the NYC area and trust me. You don’t want this clown anywhere around. 9 times out of 10 when he opens that mouth of his, he just makes a bigger fool out of himself:whacky: . Rev. Jackson, I believe was there to help a fellow human being who was being denied her civil rights (race is not a factor here) A little late on his part but at least he tried. Although most people were white there were quite a few blacks in the crowd that were on TV, at the hospice. I really don’t think whatever Terri’s race was would have been a factor here. Dispite many pleas from many groups, the lack of respect for life won on that very sad day.😦

Yes, Jesse Jackson did go out visibly to support Terri Schiavo…I think that the protection of life is the issue. Don’t mix apples and oranges in this category. Many men of the cloth of other faiths however, embrace the right to abortion but do not agree with euthanasia…they do not have the consistency of " the seamless garment" protection of life belief. We have to pray that their minds and hearts are open to that. Pray always!

Off topic a bit but the “seamless garment” is a failure because of the stand it takes on capital punishment.

Capital punishment is not on the same level as abortion and euthanasia.
