Hey all,

Our small group has begun making videos for YouTube about various Catholic topics in an effort to answer Pope Benedict XVI’s call to evangelize the ‘digital continent’. We’re called DCMission (Digital Continent Mission). Our videos focus on intellectual discussion of common faith-related questions, drawing on our rich Catholic tradition. We have 8 short videos up now and we’re trying to get the word out!

Our latest two videos are “Is Belief Reasonable?” and “Christians are Realists”.

I’ve been trying to do something similar in my native language as there is not many apologist around. Well, many Catholics here don’t even know the word apologetic means.

Thanks for the inspiration, I shall watch the videos when I got home tonight (I’m at work now and Youtube is banned).

An excellent idea. Whilst there are a large amount of fundamentalist idiots on YT and similar sites, the digital world is crying out for good honest and intelligent discussion of faith and of Christianity/Catholicism.

I myself became interested in Catholicism through watching YT videos. I will certainly watch these!
