Hello
If I had to show the bible to a family member who is not a believer (Say . . . my grandmother, or mother) who are devout Hindus, which book of the bible should I show first?
I know most of you will say the gospel of John first, but if the first thing a non believer reads is : “In the beginning the word was already there.” I doubt they’ll go beyond that. Seems hard to non believing eyes. I don’t know why I feel that way, I just do.
I was thinking of showing the Epistles first, they contain direct information about how to live. What do you think, where should I start? When I read the bible, I read Mark-Matthew-John-Luke-Acts (I was disappointed. I wanted to read further about what he did in Rome) Then Genesis-Exodus( dragged through the last part)- Leviticus -Numbers- Deuteronomy- and am now in Joshua.
Oh and also remember that I can’t buy any study bible or anything else (the bible I have as of now is only in my phone) so that’s out of the question
