I’m a Catholic training in being a religion teacher

What tips can you give to a teacher to improve religious education? I mean to sustain the interest and influence their lives as a student in the light of Christian Faith
Please I really need your reply
Thank you very much for the time you will give for answering this question…

Well, I’m not talking from experience (I’ve only recently volunteered to be an assistant Religious Ed teacher at my parish) but I could share some ideas.

-Integrate Scripture as much as possible
-Make good use of the Saints
-The Eucharist (see CCC 1324)

👍

look to your own prayer life, Mass and the sacraments obviously, but being good about daily prayer. Pray and meditate with the scripture and CCC citation suggested in your catechist manual before you begin planning your lesson. You will learn volumes, and will take more to heart so that what your learners imbibe will be richer as well.
