If we believe Eve was not created from the earth as separate from Adam and was in fact “taken out” of Adam, she could not have had Original sin transmitted to her because she was made from Adam while he was sinless.

Why not a much simpler explanation?

Eve was not subject to original sin because it had not yet been committed.

Adam and Eve were both sinless when they were created and they both committed the Original Sin. Transmission via the manner of creation doesn’t enter into the picture.

She committed the Original Sin !! Then she got her husband to do it too. God Bless, Memaw

Thanks

We say sin entered the world through one man…Adam…not Eve. His was the greater sin because he was the head of the human race.

“Through one man sin entered the world”

Neither Adam nor Eve were created with sin, Original or otherwise.Original sin did not exist until they committed it just prior to being ejected from Eden.

The only person who could commit the very Original Sin is the very Original human Adam. Romans 5: 12-21
and 1 Corinthians 15: 21-22

The Catholic Church teaches that the tragic consequences of the first Original Sin was immediately experienced by both Adam and Eve. That should be common sense since they were destined to produce human descendants. The nitty-gritty details of how Eve immediately lost her Grace of Original Holiness aka the State of Sanctifying Grace are not necessary for human entrance into heaven. By yielding to the tempter, Eve committed a personal sin.

Information source. The universal Catechism of the Catholic Church, Second Edition, paragraphs 399 and 404. However, to learn what Original Sin really is, one can read paragraphs 385-409.

I didn’t say they were created with sin, I’m thinkng through how Adam is viewed as the one original sin more than Eve ever is. Because Adam was created first, then Eve taken from him, she was also sinless, but as he is the one who is more responsible for the disobedience, Eve isn’t apart of the O.S. She may have sinned, but his was the greater sin and therefore all decendants born from Eve bare the fallen nature, but she didn’t.

Eve is hardly mentioned, it’s always put on Adam, that seems strange. Most all the bible speaks to men about sin rather than women, apart from some blaming Eve for Adam’s fall.

Exactly, so how could Eve be affected by the original sin, she was " a part" from Adam, she wasn’t taken from Adam after he sinned…

How was Eve affected by original sin?

She was kicked out of the garden along with her husband. The pain of her childbirths was intensified.

Thanks.

Perhaps she had no choice but to leave with her husband…

So Eve would be just as responsible for the original sin, but we make it Adam to be responsible…Doesn’t quite add up 🤷
