Our 8 year old daughter had been upset that neither of her names is a saint’s name. We’ve looked and haven’t found it listed anywhere.
When she was about 4 or 5 she loved St. Agnes. I told her she could pick a saint like St. Agnes whom she loved and admired to be her patron saint. At 8 she didn’t like the idea & just felt we had dealt her a bad hand.
Then one day we were watching an animated video on Blessed Mother Theresa. My daughter felt as if God was speaking to her when she found out the 3 following things:

- Blessed Mother Theresa’s birth name was Agnes
- She and my daughter share the same birth date
- Blessed Mother Theresa’s first church has the same name as
our church
