This has no relation to any on-going argument here on this board, but as it is clear that there are many around here interested in matters relating to the comparitive merits of Eastern Orthodoxy and Catholicism, I thought that there might be some who would be pleased to learn that the Pontificator (an Anglican priest) is sponsoring a series of essays by once-Anglican converts to Orthodoxy and Catholicism. The first, by Fr. Stephen Freeman of the OCA, came out this morning and is available here. Enjoy. 🙂

Am I the only man in my circle of cyber-space aquaintences who does not have his own blog? I am finding more and more that as soon as I meet someone (oftentimes even in the analog world) that he refers me to his blog. Clearly I am behind the times…

:hmmm:

Well, I felt that way too until recently. I’ve only had one since September, and there was about a month in which I didn’t post on it.

I had no idea how easy it was to set one up. My blog is very primitive and one of these days hopefully I will figure out how to do “trackbacks” and post all sorts of links on it and all the other interesting things people are doing. Basically I’m totally stymied by anything on a computer that doesn’t involve either typing text into a box or clicking on a very user-friendly screen with a mouse!

In Christ,

Edwin

Gosh, Edwin, I would say that I liked the simplicity of your blog. I think that this is very much a less-is-more sort of thing. I had to stop reading Mark Shea’s blog because it was just too busy; sensory overload! You have no reason to worry about the lack of whistles and bells on your own. 🙂

I have more than enough to do without bothering with one of those 🙂 - I hate computers ! 😃
