One evening when I was in college I was riding the bus back to school from a theatre production. Out of the middle of nowhere,
to the upper left of my head the face of my cousin appeared for a spit second then popped away, like a balloon. I remember saying aloud, “Why did I just see Danny like that?” I remember a feeling
of dread came over me that I couldn’t shake. I paced the floor and everything. The next morning I found out my cousin Danny,
whom I was very close to growing up had been killed at that moment, in a car accident. I still gives me the chills.
I know a woman who witnessed the death of her husband by drowning during a fishing trip. Needless to say she was a mess.
She was also concerned for his soul because she is very faithful and he had been struggling with his faith. Several months later her daughter had a dream. In the dream her father came to her in a fog, wearing the black and red checkered shirt which was his favorite (I don’t remember whether he was buried in it). The daughter states he said to her, “Tell Mom not to worry about me, I’m in Paraguay.” My friend thinks he may have said Purgatory but that her daughter did not hear it that way because she has left the Church and no longer believes in Purgatory. This has greatly comforted her. I find it interesting that the daughter received the message.
I have tons of stories of visions my patients have had when I worked on a cancer ward and several that have been told to me, particularly of certain rooms. They would make your hair curl.
