Do you agree with the below statements?

Since we were made in the likeness and image of God and since God is infinite, we do and continue to partake in his unboundedness.

God is everlasting life.

No human being can consume the infinite. I don’t think it is the point of God for God to raise people into gods like himself; so we do not partake in his infinitesimal being like that. In us, God seeks mere perfection of us; and it is not necessary for man to become God like God himself. Like Jesus says, circumcision of Spirit is best (and I believe He directs this statement towards us).

God is many other things as well, and we are fashioned to participate in those other things : for examples: intellect, will, creativity, holiness, etc. 👍

So you agree with my two statements?

You believe that we will participate in God’s boundlessness in some kind of way.

You believe God is everlasting life (think of the Apostle’s Creed).

To me only God is everlasting. Everlasting life to me is where someone, namely God, exists infinitely backwards in time and infinitely forwards in time; as a creature of God’s creation I and We can never experience this, however, from the point of our creation, God, shares this everlasting life with us; as we cannot be destroyed or have our lives extinguished from the point of our very conception and onwards. But God is truly the only everlasting one.

So we at least agree on this:

God lives in us, and everlasting life is of God.

God is eternal. We are immortal. We share in God’s everlasting life.

In so many other ways we also share since God made us in his image and likeness.

God is also the bread of life. So, that would be the bread of everlasting life. I think this is all written in John Cpt. 6. Therefore, God is everlasting life.

OK. I see many of your points.

Maybe it is more right to say that Everlasting Life is part of God as oppossed to God is Everlasting Life.
