here’s my thought. every one and or every nation has different covenant or vow with God.

take for example Muslims, are they descendants of Hagar? if it’s true, then that made them slaves in God’s view. there are no possibilities of their descendants to be Son of God, because they were people not promised by God in the first place. so, to make them hold their covenant dearly, every view of Son of God must be get rid off. in their world view, there is no sons of God. for them, the law of God is the highest. for every one that break His law, will be punished accordingly.

as for Jews, they are descendants of Sara, a free woman, so her descendants are free people, free souls. in God’s view they are children. therefore, if they fall away, God has made a plan to save them.

unfortunately, they didn’t heed to God’s love. so God, in His wrath, gave His love freely to everyone who wants to accept, no matter who they are.

as for everybody else who accepts His love, they will become children of God. as for others who don’t know God’s love, but know goodness in their heart & mind, they make a vow to goodness in their own way. we might not know their way, but they walk toward God.

everything now seems to be in chaos, but actually they’re in the way of intertwining with God’s plan.

the only way everything doesn’t go in God’s plan is because some people has disobeyed their own vow or covenant.

that’s what i think.

As interesting and fascinating as it may be, there has always been just one Covenant, at one particular time. Actually it was the same Covenant started and renewed several times with the Chosen people, and transformed into an everlasting Covenant in the Blood of Christ. This is the teaching of the Church and the testimony of Scripture. God chose one people, not all of them. But I do appreciate your thinking, but do not be led astray by it. God bless!

Many polytheistic faiths work under this philosophy, except they believe that different cultures/lands have a relationship or covenant with their own set of gods.

This is why most of them have no interest in evangelization or conversion of outsiders.

I think that this philosophy is much less common among monotheists because they don’t recognize other deities or believe that their deity has different rules for different groups.
