So I discovered the “user ignore” feature today and I am experimenting with it. It turns out that I have already ignored everyone, but nobody is actually being ignored. When I click through a user profile, I see a large “Ignored” button, upper right. When I twiddle it, it changes, but if I put it on “Ignored” it does nothing to hide that user or his topics. A little help?

I am having the same problem with both mute and ignore. 🙈
Sorry, I have no answers.

It is working for me. As an experiment I put you (@Anesti33 ) on ignore using the method you outlined in your opening post. Returning to this thread, where your post used to be is Ignored content , though your username remains. But I think that is due to you being the OP.

(Will now undo the experimental ignore)

ETA, your post is now viewable for me again.

ETA2 I’m assuming you selected a timeframe for the user to be ignored?

Click your icon → then click your name that’s on the top left of the notifications pop-up → then click on Preferences which is listed last along the top → on the left pane you’ll see Notifications → below this are two options one of which is Users. Under “Ignored” you click ADD, then type in the @ symbol followed by the username . In the box below this, click in the box and again type in the @symbol followed by the username. Then make sure you click SAVE CHANGES.

This certainly confirms that not all users are actually on ignore; it’s a display bug of some kind.

I was able to place a user on ignore and have that (somewhat) hide his stuff.
I will keep you posted of new developments…
